Fujifilm X-T30 II, XF27mm F2.8 R WR

f/4, 1/220s, ISO 160.

An old, weathered structure covered in a torn tarp lies abandoned in a dense forest, resting on a fallen log among ferns and birch trees. The wooden and metal frame beneath the tarp shows signs of decay, with peeling paint in white and rust tones.

The image is a black and white, close-up portrait of a black and white cat. The cat is lying down, with its paws tucked neatly underneath its chest. The composition is tightly focused on the cat's face, filling most of the frame. The background is blurred, suggesting the cat is the sole subject of attention. The cat has distinct black fur covering its head and back, contrasting sharply with its white chest, chin, and muzzle. Its face is the most detailed area: the white fur on its muzzle and around its nose is finely textured, and long, white whiskers fan out from either side of its nose. The cat's eyes are a focal point, though they appear somewhat obscured or distorted by an overlaid effect, possibly representing some kind of visual processing or artistic interpretation. One eye seems to be looking directly at the viewer with a slight squint, while the other is more obscured. The cat's ears are pointed and stand erect. The image has a monochrome palette, with deep blacks and bright w

Misty forest landscape with leafless trees fading into blue fog, a small tree with red leaves in the center foreground, and dark tree trunks framing the scene on both sides.

The legend says that Celtic people worshipped here… It’s probably not true, but if not at a place like this, where else? 😅 Taken in my local forest in the Odenwald, which can be translated as “Odin’s Woods.”
