What a beautiful costume (Astoria, OR, 2026)

Representing indigenous culture from Mexico.

During a parade, a participant stops and turns to see where the others in her group are. She is dressed in an ornate, indigenous (to Mexico) costume with long feathers in a headdress and highly detailed stitching and artwork in her outfit.

Another happy little moment in a small town parade (Astoria, OR, 2026)

A clown with tiny dog on a leash walks in a small town parade on a sunny day. Behind her is a large float with youthful parade queens dressed in gowns and sashes and tiaras, waving at the onlookers.

Clowns Clowning with this vehicle (Astoria, OR, 2026)

More details in alt text.

A very old vehicle that is in poor condition has "Astoria Clowns" painted on the side along with "Oldest American City in the West". The front end of the vehicle is at left, but it's been remade to drive backwards (or to the right in the image), just like clowns would do.

A clown in a street parade throws candy to the crowd on a very sunny day. Her shadow is cast directly at the camera and a piece of candy flies slightly to the right of the photographer.
