A Carlow Fairytale.

#photography #Ireland #HistoricSites #Carlow #RuinsOfIreland

A tall, pale grey Gothic Revival stone turret and ruined castle parapets rise against a pale blue sky with light clouds. In the foreground, cream-coloured astilbe and mixed summer meadow flowers bloom in a lush walled garden, separated from the weathered stone battlements and brickwork by a row of neatly clipped green shrubs.
