Analog portrait of my wife, Elisa, made among tall, freely growing vegetation. The colour palette is deliberately subdued, almost monochromatic, with cool greens fading into greys and muted creamy tones. The colours evoke old, slightly faded photographic prints and give the image a distinctly vintage character.
Elisa is sitting among grasses and small wildflowers, with her dress spread widely around her. The light-coloured polka-dot dress, fitted at the top and widening toward the bottom, strongly recalls feminine fashion of the 1950s. Delicate lace gloves further emphasize the styling and reinforce the retro aesthetic. Her dark hair falls softly over her shoulders. Her arms are extended in front of her, with her hands resting close together among the plants. Elisa’s eyes are gently closed, and there is a faint, almost imperceptible smile on her face. She appears calm, as if for a moment she has withdrawn from the surrounding world.
