The background is completely out of focus and almost abstract. Vertical traces of grasses and stems, together with patches of light and dark, form a soft, flowing structure that feels more like painterly texture than a literal fragment of a meadow. Analog portrait of my wife, Elisa, made among tall, freely growing vegetation. The colour palette is deliberately subdued, almost monochromatic, with cool greens fading into greys and muted creamy tones. The colours evoke old, slightly faded photographic prints and give the image a distinctly vintage character.
Elisa is sitting among grasses and small wildflowers, with her dress spread widely around her. The light-coloured polka-dot dress, fitted at the top and widening toward the bottom, strongly recalls feminine fashion of the 1950s. Delicate lace gloves further emphasize the styling and reinforce the retro aesthetic. Her dark hair falls softly over her shoulders.
