[Bikepacking Denmark, Pt. 3] … When I left Esbjerg, it started to rain. By the time I reached Blåvand, I was completely soaked. According to the weather radar, it was supposed to have stopped raining, but it just kept raining, interrupted only by occasional breaks.

Fortunately, I was able to dry off briefly at a café and at a friend’s place, where he was vacationing with his family.

After that, I made a quick stop at the lighthouse, then continued on to Vejers, along Lake Filsø and the Henne (Mølle) estuary, all the way to just before Hvide Sande, where, shortly after 22:00, I happened to pass a campground and decided to stay there.

Luckily, everything in my bags had stayed completely dry, and there was even a hot shower. And a nice woman brought me some hot peppermint tea to my tent. Totally amazing! :-)
