Can't See the Forest for the Trees 🌳 for #texturetuesday

Hello all! 👋🏻

You might have seen this on Masto but I'm going to put it here:

I've not been feeling very creative lately and have kind of hit a wall when it comes to photography.

Instead of it filling me with joy, it kind of fills me with anxiety and the need to "perform".

So, for September I'm going to be doing #shittember, where I post, (hopefully everyday, we'll see 😂), a bad photo or a photo that I just don't like.

It's low cost exposure therapy and breaking out of the anxiety/performance cycle.

I'm going to do it on Masto and give here a little break for the month of September. And then hopefully come back refreshed with new material, or at least feel a little better about the situation!

Everyone is welcome to join #shittember - it might be a good way to remind ourselves that perfect is the enemy to good, and that it's about enjoying the process!
