A wide, sluggish stream surrounded by grassy wetlands is feeding into a large lake. A few small leafy shrubs and gray boulders are scattered across the marsh. The marsh ends at the edge of a forest of trees wearing bright green, orange and gold autumn foliage. The sky is a deep October blue with a few streaks of haze along the horizon.
