Another candelabrum tree, Thuja plicata, redcedar, on a street corner. It overpowers the house next to it and intimidates pedestrians. As it should.

A multi-trunk redcedar looms over a sidewalk in a Seattle neighborhood. The tree has a rough red-gray bark. I count eight smaller trunks rising from the base, most shooting straight up. There are a couple of trunks leaning right and left. A couple of trunk-sized branches are growing out of main stems. There is a foam of English ivy at the base of the cedar, and you can see the brightly lit sidewalk off to the left leading away from the tree.

Had to check your location, and sure enough, Seattle. My son has one of these in his back yard, just enormous crown and height! Beautiful tree. Thanks
