Unplanned Ride - 92 km - 725 m

My plan was to go to Ath by train and ride around the nice area with my road bike, but my train got cancelled…

Plan B: I used Komoot at the train station to quickly plan my Sunday ride. I rode west to Geraardsbergen.

So, no fancy beach and sunset this time. 😉

Provinciaal domein De Gavers, Geraardsbergen, Aalst, Belgium A paved path runs alongside a canal bordered by lush greenery and tall trees under a partly cloudy sky reflecting in the water's surface. The foreground features scattered fallen leaves on the grassy bank. 35 mm equivalent: 14 mm Molen Ter Zeven Wegen, Ninove, Aalst, Belgium A traditional windmill with white walls and a dark roof stands under a partly cloudy sky. The mill's sails are partially open, and a staircase leads up to its entrance. A tree branch extends into the frame from the right side, while a small building with a red-tiled roof is visible in the background on the left. The scene is framed by natural elements, including gravel and greenery at the base of the mill. 35 mm equivalent: 26 mm Geraardsbergen, Aalst, Belgium A quaint street scene under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds features historic buildings on both sides. The left side showcases shops and cafes like "Soul Coffee," while the right displays ornate architecture with red brick facades and black iron gates. Colorful string flags hang across the street, adding vibrancy to the scene. A few cars are parked along the road, and a cyclist is visible in the distance. 35 mm equivalent: 26 mm Parkeerplaats Brugstraat, Geraardsbergen, Aalst, Belgium A canal scene features a weathered yellow building with boarded-up windows and a sloped roof, situated on a grassy bank beside a calm river reflecting its surroundings. In the background, other buildings line the horizon under a partly cloudy sky. The foreground includes a section of a lock or dam structure made of brick and metal, with some greenery and flowers at the edge. 35 mm equivalent: 26 mm
