The view from my office this morning.

I'm not sure if the chicken thinks it's a cat, the cat thinks it's a chicken or if both of them think they're human.

There is a faint possibility that I'm supposed to be a chicken or a cat or both.

A white chicken standing outside a room with a ginger cat behind her. They are on a wooden floor with a drawing of a cat and the corner of a mirror in the background.

Fun fact: we currently operate one of the largest chicken retirement communities in Caloosa! Even after our hens stop laying, they are free to live out the rest of their lives happily eating grubs and grass and socializing with the other chickens!

Image is one of the chicks that we got October of 2025, almost a full year ago. She is all grown up now!

A group of fluffy baby chicks on straw bedding inside a wooden enclosure, with a large white water bottle on a blue base in the foreground.
