Nine-Twenty Silence in Omotesando

A modern building with stone cladding stands in Omotesando, Tokyo, under a dramatic cloudy sky. At the top, a large clock reads twenty past nine. Below the AOKI GROUP sign, the structure rises elegantly, blending classic architectural dignity with dramatic urban atmosphere.

A vertical black and white photograph of an ornate, brick clock tower standing against a moody, heavily clouded sky. The tower features intricate brick patterning with white diamond motifs, arched upper windows, and a large central clock face near the top. Soft, diffused lighting accentuates the dark contrast of the bricks and the drama of the overcast sky. A low roofed structure with stone arches extends from the base of the tower.

Street scene in Copenhagen that I captured simply because I liked how the traffic light visually framed both the bicyclists and the historic bell tower in the distance. Urban photography is really about scale and perspective!

July 2026 | Copenhagen, Denmark

Bicyclists wait at an intersection next to a traffic light that hangs above them and visually spans over a tall historic clock tower in the distance.
