Sonny's Pizza

University Heights, San Diego, California

An old school pizza parlor sign reading "Sonny's Pizza." It's ringed in lights, like an old movie marquis sign. "Sonny's" is in red neon lights in a script font, and "Pizza' is underneath in yellow neon.

Harlan Brewing Company

Scripps Ranch, San Diego,

A high contrast black and white photo of the inside of a microbrewery. In focus in the background stand the large, shiny metal cylinders the brewing takes place in. In the foreground, and slightly out of focus, is a pool table. On the right side of the frame is a large Harlan logo (a stylized 'H') in the gift shop.

At the Game

There's no post processing in this photo. The stadium lighting, reflections, and sunset (plus the Fujifilm recipe I was using) just sorta made this all look like a movie set.

photo taken from a walkway in Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres. Two women are in the foreground, their backs to the camera. One is wearing a Tatis Jr jersey. The sun is fully set in the background, with just a bit of orange and purple illuminating the sky. An apartment building is in frame, partially lit by the stadium lights.

The right field foul pole at Petco Park is adorned with a giant Jack in the Box head, a la the fast food chain. The sun sets behind it, casting shadows throughout the scene.

Black and white photo, high contrast, of a few modern, mid-rise buildings. The light and shadow are really the main draw of this one.

The Artist's Studio (two ways)

Not sure if I like the black and white version better or the color.

The Artist's Studio (two ways)

Not sure if I like the black and white version better or the color.

A musician standing in a densely cluttered garage practice space. There are guitars, chairs, a drum set, music stands, a framed poster leaning against a wall. It's chaos, but to the artist, it's delightful. (photo in black and white) A musician standing in a densely cluttered garage practice space.
