Ein grosser Marktstand mit leuchtend orangefarbenen und grünen Planen sowie bengalischer Schrift zieht die Blicke auf sich. Im Inneren stehen Verkäufer hinter Reihen von Gläsern und Behältern mit Süssigkeiten, Bonbons, Snacks, Gewürzen und eingelegten Spezialitäten. Passanten bewegen sich auf dem staubigen Weg davor im warmen Licht des späten Nachmittags. Die weite Perspektive erfasst die gesamte Struktur des Standes unter einem klaren, hellen Himmel.
