Thalidomide – Trust the Science1950s: Thalidomide approved as safe in pregnancy, and doctors put in the cigarette adverts. Trust the Science.

It took five years for the connection between thalidomide taken by pregnant people and the impact on their children to be made. Not only did thalidomide change people’s lives, but it resulted in tighter drug testing and reporting of side-effects.

Please read that again. Five years! So, we can wait a bit for more of the side effects of the Covid and latest “Flu” Jabs …….Developed by Chemie Grünenthal in West Germany, thalidomide was sold as a mild sedative and morning sickness remedy in the late 1950s.

It was marketed as safe for pregnant women without proper pre-market testing on embryonic development or placental transfer.

The resulting global crisis left over 10,000 children with severe birth defects.

The disaster was contained in the United States because FDA pharmacologist Dr. Frances Kelsey demanded rigorous safety and clinical data before approval, proving that strict adherence to empirical evidence protects public health.

Uses of thalidomide today

In 1964, doctor Jacob Sheskin at Jerusalem’s Hadassah University Hospital, gave one of his patients thalidomide to help with a severe complication of leprosy.

As a result, the World Health Organisation (WHO) ran a clinical trial on the use of thalidomide for leprosy in 1967. And after more positive results, thalidomide was used as a treatment for leprosy in many countries.

More recently, it has been used successfully to control some AIDS-related conditions, and as a targeted cancer drug for treating the symptoms of cancers such as multiple myeloma.

There you have it. I would STRONGLY suggest that, if you are on ANY medication , prescribed especially, do some research of what all is in the shit!

DDT – Trust the Science1940s: DDT sprayed onto children’s heads. Its inventor gets the Nobel in 1948. Trust the Science.

Swiss chemist Paul Hermann Müller discovered the insect-killing properties of DDT in 1939. He won the 1948 Nobel Prize for his discovery, which played a historic role in halting deadly insect-borne epidemics like malaria and typhus.

In the 1960s and 1970s, books like Silent Springshowed how DDT hurt birds and wildlife, leading most countries to ban it.

Talk about a Rabbit Hole! The Silent Spring from a quick look does way more than that. Mainly I see that the Lady not only told them about DDT, but chemicals in general. AND. She seems to have prophesized what is happening today!! I will have to find out more….. back to the DDT…

There is no official or exact statistical figure tracking a specific number of chemicals that are simultaneously banned yet actively imported into South Africa from the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.

I read about “hackers”, man I would LOVE to be able to do that. Or at least meet someone that can get me info I know is there!

Then. Up in Angola in 1994 I saw,  and used DDT. Put it on my ankles mainly. No tick bites while I was up there after that.  Don’t know if it made me sick as we were all sick from Gogga bites and what-not, before we got the DDT.
