Altro...Gypsy on the move?Spring. Time of change, a good time and good changes. Well I HAVE to believe that right now. Last Sunday I was informed that GOA is going on the market and I must find alternative arrangements, for work and to stay. I know EXACTLY what I want to do with the last few years of my life, and to that end I am attempting to make a decent CV. I want to get out of been so much cyberspace firstly. Then I NEED to grow stuff and make gardens like at Zwavelpoort. I also would like to build real things with wood, not make photos of things, make some. I did put some feelers out and will start this week looking at these “organic” farms. Hope to find one in the Bush here, where I belong. Also an extra pair of …. trained eyes about the place will help with security. Well, wish me luck….
Will get my photos of all the gardens I have made over the years, from Maputo to Cape Town!!!

These 6x6 high-mobility transports are amphibious; they run on land and float in water. Two vector-thrust jets propel them through rivers and lakes.
Kind of like massive, angry metal ducks.

Altro...“These young beautiful girls, these young beautiful girls, these young beautiful girls in the White House, they come in. Now I’m not supposed to say beautiful, but what the hell. These young, these gorgeous, beautiful girls, they want to be safe and they come say Mr. President, thank you, sir.”
Donald Trump with his daughter Ivanka. There’s a particular creepy chill that runs down the spine when a president starts talking about “these young, beautiful girls” in the White House — not once, not twice, but in a looping, self‑satisfied chant, as if repetition might make the remark less noisome. It doesn’t. It only underscores the rotten stench that surrounds this doddering autocrat.
For those who have followed this absurd behavior for over a decade, it is more evidence that the casual objectification he spewed in a political rally this week once again just reeked of a lack of basic professionalism that follows Trump around like his orange face. Trump is, at heart, a sexual predator. His designs on “gorgeous, beautiful girls” over his lifetime are all part of his warped nature. The public is now to accept this sickness as showmanship and governance. No ethically grounded person can accept that in this nation.
Trump told a political rally in New York Friday that paying “a tiny little bit more for your gasoline” is supposed to be worth the price of his needless attack on Iran. We know that the timing of this war was to take his sexual abuse of underage girls with Jeffrey Epstein off the front pages. Now we’re supposed to swallow his criminal behavior by understanding that higher gasoline prices are a patriotic duty. The message is simple: the public should bear the economic burden while the president postures through a foreign conflict. It’s a familiar pattern with Trump. Hardship for the many, lumbering about in an adult diaper for the one.
Then comes the military, or what’s left of its institutional spine. Reports show the U.S. Navy considering redesigning aircraft carriers to better match the president’s preferred aesthetic. Not strategy. Not engineering. Not survivability. Aesthetic. As if the architects who spend careers designing warships with precision should toss aside expertise because the commander‑in‑chief doesn’t like the silhouette. It’s governance by impulse.
The through‑line this week is unmistakable. Trump and this White House treat reason, professionalism, and common sense as inconveniences. Expertise is something to be bent, not respected. Public institutions are props. And the people tasked with upholding them are expected to kneel, figuratively, if not literally, to whatever whim emerges from the Oval Office.
It’s stunning, yes. But more than that, it’s dangerous. The longer this spectacle continues, the more it numbs the country to the very standards that once defined public service.
