BYD Atto 3: One of my favorite EVs to drive, right behind the Hyundai IONIQ 5. And the funky interior has been growing on me. No issues with range or charging, especially since every rest area has fast charging spots.
The Solar Ark: Ark as in Noah’s. It’s a bridge to the 21st century and a celebration of Sanyo’s 50th anniversary (they didn’t make it 60). Many of the panels they ended up using were recalls from a mislabeling scandal they a few years earlier. Corporate penance and clean energy for the new millennium in the form of a giant monument. Deconstruction starts next month.
Nagoya Tower Hotel: Not-Tokyo-Tower has a hotel in it. With real structural girders in the rooms. And a record player. And art. And a secret door to the elevator you can take to the top after normal business hours. Very cool.
