Boardwalks cross peatlands, connecting "islands" of ancient forests.

Siikaneva Protected Area: It is the largest continuous wetland and the most important peatland reserve in Finland. It is a popular destination for hiking along wooden boardwalks and a key site for climate research, particularly for measuring greenhouse gas fluxes.
