A detailed close-up of deeply grooved, dark tree bark laden with dense clusters of pale, sage-green beard lichen. Delicate, thread-like filaments branch outwards, intermingled with patches of flat, crustose lichen and tiny tufts of emerald moss. Soft, diffuse woodland light illuminates the intricate textures of the bark and epiphytes against a softly blurred, natural green background.

Close-up of moss growing on a tree. The feathery carpet of moss is a vibrant green with yellow and browns. It is clinging to the thick, rough, textured brown bark of a felled tree.
