Good day!

While hiking yesterday, I saw a herd of seniors moving downhill in the distance. At least a dozen of them.

Given that I hike alone, it kind of made me feel like a senior predator.

Especially because I heard them long before I saw them. It was kinda strange.

Be everwell.

A trail curls up and to the right around a pine tree on the right as it emerges from the forest and crosses an open slope, the grass golden. In the distance is a broad valley, mountains beyond that. The sky is cloudy.

@CA_Hawthorne@writing.exchange 😃 hearing ppl long before seeing them is so strange! We had the same two days ago when two hikers passed us and we were able to follow the conversation for quite a while...

And it was just TWO ppl!
