Kettle and Fruits



This is a black and white still life image featuring a teapot and a plate of fruit against a rustic wooden background. The main elements are a large, dark teapot positioned on the left side of the frame, and a small, light-colored plate containing several pieces of fruit on the right. The teapot is round and bulbous with a prominent black handle arching over the top, and a small, rounded lid knob. Its spout juts out to the left. The surface of the teapot is highly reflective, showing bright highlights that accentuate its curved form. The plate of fruit is placed in front of the teapot, slightly to the right. It holds at least three fruits: a pale yellow-green apple is prominent in the foreground, to the left of the plate's center. Behind it and slightly to the right is a darker, round fruit, possibly an orange or a plum, with some texture visible. The kettle and fruit composition works beautifully in monochrome, great tonal separation on the wooden surface.
