#photography #butterfly #daisy #flower #insektensamstag #canonr6

On the bank of a river, a brown butterfly is perched on the top of a very tall white daisy. There are some dried stems behind and a few large green leaves out of focus. Unlike usual, the butterfly is not facing the heart of the flower in search for the precious nectar. On the contrary, it turns his back on it to watch the surroundings as it was a sentinel scouting from its watchtower.

#photography #resin #appletree #canonr6

A vertical photograph showing a close-up on an apple tree suffering from the very hot summer. Its thick heavily textured mossy trunk runs along the right border. Parallel to it is a thin smooth branch with many resin droplets. The focus targets the biggest one where the warm light plays with its orange shades and transparency against a blurry background made of green leaves and patches of blue sky. This droplet looks weird because it points to the top of the image due to the extreme low-angle shot. It might be a hidden message suggesting that the world has gone mad…

An old concrete pole covered with white, grey and yellow moss against a dried grass blurry background. It is topped by a fitted piece with broken parts on the edges which leave two almond shape holes so it looks like a cartoonesque character hidden in the pole, spying on something.

A top-down view on thistle flowers against a green blurry background. Some have already wilted and some others are burgeoning. A side view on Calluna bushes that fulfil the picture from the ground up. There are multitude of sprigs of light pink flowers and tiny dark green leaves everywhere, so many that you don't know where to watch! In the surroundings, there was yellow gorse, pink and purple heather, green leaves and grass, bees, butterflies, singing birds, all those accompagnied by a subtle perfume… A true paradise!

A close-up on bog-myrtle inflorescences in the middle of a green bush. Not yet opened flowers look like grapes of little pointed pears, golden-greenish colored. Dark red thin branches are spiraling from behind and end with some green leaves that are shaped like elongated water drops with teeth at the tip. I could smell a delicate fragrance wafting from those bushes. I'm glad i discovered this plant, it's beautiful and it has a very sweat smell, 'will had to my wishlist!

A walk through the peat bog

#photography #peat #bog #fern #heather #canonr6

It's a vertical photograph that opens like a window on a peatland. A tall greenish fern is on the left and a young tree with no leaves on the right. The ground is heavily covered by green gorse with yellow flowers and purple heather. Not that far, a dark green pine forest close the background. Above the scene is a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. It looks like planet Earth in the jurassic period, at least, as it was depicted to us. But don't worry for me, i didn't met dinosaurs (actually, yes, there were two lizards…) not even the Baskerville hound!
