I find cheetahs to be one of the hardest cats to photograph, because they're somewhat hard to find, and when you do, they always seem to be in the tall grass. But I was caught by the way the color of the small purple flowers here plays against the red of this guy's bloodied mouth (with deference to the poor impala he was eating).

I should get back to photography some more. This is a fun one from about four years back.

An architectural photograph from the topmost corner of a tall apartment building. The wall of the building has been painted to look like its covered in a leopard fur pattern with dark brown blotches on a bright yellow-orange background. On the wall there are some windows and a ladder that leads to the roof. Behind the building is a vibrant blue sky with some wisps of white clouds. The image has been color manipulated, and the perspective has also been corrected so the photo has a weird uncanny feeling because the angles of the building are so straight. The extreme contrast of color between the leopard patterned wall and the blue sky makes the photo look powerful.
