Santa Maria di Loreto (a sinistra) e Santissimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano (a destra), di fronte al Vittoriano

@foto@diggita.com

Close-up view of the twin domed churches near Trajan's Forum in Rome, Italy, photographed on 17 October 2026. On the left stands Santa Maria di Loreto, with its large weathered dome, circular windows and elaborate Renaissance lantern. To the right rises the Church of the Most Holy Name of Mary, featuring a slightly smaller dome and an elegant Baroque lantern. Their pale stone façades and sculptural details stand out beneath a dramatic blue sky filled with textured white and grey clouds, highlighting the architectural harmony between two churches built centuries apart.

Two large golden onion domes of the Holy Trinity Cathedral at the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre in Paris, photographed from below at dusk in August 2023. Orthodox crosses rise above the reflective domes, which catch warm golden light against an intense blue evening sky. Dark tree leaves frame the scene around the edges.
