A photograph of two men fishing over the railing of a pier. The photograph is taken at a distance. One man is in the centre of the frame and the other is on the far right. They are both wearing warm clothing. The sky is clear and a little hazy. The pier railing is made of metal bars, with a horizontal bar along the top and the bottom and evenly spaced vertical bars between creating a repeating pattern. The ocean can be seen behind the bars and the horizon line can be seen a little above the fence on the left of the image. The lower right of the image is mostly taken up by the footpath of the pier and a concrete structure. It's mid-afternoon in winter, and the scene is lit with low and soft winter sun from the back-right.
