Historic Green Street Church in the morning light, Englewood, Florida (no longer located on Green Street). Shot on Kodak Gold 200 film with a Fuji point-and-shoot camera.

A traditional white church building with a sloped roof and windows in the front and along the side walls. In the front there is a tower extending above the roof, but there is no pointed steeple at the top. There are two windows near the top of the tower. There is a white picket fence along the front of the church, and a paved walkway leading to the front door. The ground is brown with small bits of green grass or weeds spaced apart. There are green trees to the left, in front of the church, and to the right. In the distance to the right, small gravestones can be seen. The sky is a dramatic blue color, with white clouds above the horizon and extending above the church and to the left.

New River Gorge National Park. Shot on Kodak Gold 200 film.

Looking down the length of a river from a position above the river. The river water has a greenish color, and there are some people on kayaks and rafts, but they are very far away and barely visible. On either side of the river there are steep hills covered with lush, green trees. Near the top of the frame there is a long bridge extending from one side of the photo to the other. The bridge is supported by a steel truss structure with one large arch extending from one side to the other. The bridge is high enough that we mostly see sky behind the bridge. The sky is very cloudy and appears to be mostly white.

Color photograph taken at the harbor in Kowloon overlooking the bay. Two people, photographed from behind, are standing close together by an open window, looking out at the city at night. One person is wearing a striped shirt and a dark cap; the other is wearing a light-colored hooded jacket and a light-colored cap. Through the tall windows, blurred lights and the illuminated skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island are visible. The grainy photograph is bathed in warm shades of yellow and green.

Color photograph of the Parade Ground at Tai Kwun in Hong Kong. It shows a bird's-eye view of the expansive, light-colored paved plaza at the former police station. Numerous people are walking across the open space, either alone or in small groups, while at the top of the frame, others are sitting on benches and steps. In the center of the square—and of the image—stands a person, seemingly completely still, while everyone around them is in motion.

Color photograph of a scene inside a restaurant in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The view looks through a glass pane with red horizontal lines toward a brightly lit kitchen. Behind the reflective glass, two people are seen sitting, and a waitress is standing by the table. Further in the background, parts of the kitchen are visible, including a man working and white plastic containers stacked on the shelves. The photograph is rendered in warm, yellowish tones.

Cadaqués est un magnifique village côtier. Cernée par les montagnes, il a su conserver son centre historique avec ses maisons blanches, ses ruelles étroites et ses milliers de bougainvilliers. Comment ne pas tomber sous le charme!

Cadaqués is a beautiful coastal village. Surrounded by mountains, it has managed to preserve its historic centre with its white houses, narrow streets and thousands of bougainvilleas. It’s impossible not to fall in love with it!

A color photograph taken through an open roll-up door into a simply furnished (street food) restaurant. Numerous red Coca-Cola crates are stacked against the right-hand wall; dark tables and metal stools stand in front of them. Bright ceiling lights and several red Chinese ornaments decorate the room. Hanging from the left-hand entrance pillar is an elongated red-and-gold decoration featuring a lion’s head and Chinese characters that symbolize a traditional Chinese blessing.
