Das Bild zeigt einen Blick aus einem offenen Fenster auf eine Küstenlandschaft. Im Vordergrund steht ein Nachttisch mit einer Lampe, die von der tiefstehenden Sonne angestrahlt wird. Teilkolorierte Schwarzweiss-Aufnahme des Leuchtturms Phare de la pointe d’Agon in der Normandie. Rechts erhebt sich der quadratische, weisse Leuchtturmbau mit einem angrenzenden Gebäudefragment; die Laternenkuppel, das Geländer der Aussichtsplattform sowie die Windfahne heben sich als einziger Farbakzent in leuchtendem Rot ab. All on your own on the cliffs of Normandy, enjoying the sweeping views of the sea, the peace and quiet, and the fresh air.

Blick von der Steilküste aufs Meer. Nach links blickt man auf den steilen Abhang mit unterschiedlich farbigen Schichten. Im Vordergrund ist Gras zu sehen. Das Sonnenlicht reflektiert in der relativ glatten Oberfläche des Meeres. Am Himmel sind einige, kleine Wolken zu sehen.
