Beauty by the roadside

Two close-ups of a faded creeping thistle, backlit

for

A close-up of a withered creeping thistle, backlit. Against a dark green background, the fine, hairy texture of the spent flower is visible; the hairs glisten in the backlight. The photo was taken during a walk in the woods, and the plant was located right at the edge of the path. Set against a green background of various leaves, the spent blossom of a creeping thistle is visible. Backlighting highlights the flower's hairy texture, as well as a short section of the stem and a leaf; this lighting lends the withered plant an autumnal vibe, making the hairs glisten and the colors glow.

War ein langer anstrengender Tag.
Kein Waldspaziergang heute Abend.

Habe mich stattdessen an den Fotos erfreut, die andere eingestellt haben.
