A narrow dirt path leads straight into the centre of the frame through a dense stand of bare, slender trees. Thick fog fills the background, making the trees fade progressively from dark silhouettes in the foreground to pale grey outlines and finally disappear into white haze. The forest floor is covered with fallen leaves, darker and more textured near the camera. No sky is visible; the mist fills the upper portion of the frame evenly. Black-and-white photograph on 35mm film, with visible grain.
