This is a landscape format photo taken in the summer of a sunset, as seen from the shore of a larger lake. The sun was nearing the horizon and was creating a warm orangish glow in the sky, from behind some darker clouds. The reflection can be seen on the water's surface which is shimmering. Lower level mountains in the background are in silhouette. Even with all of this colour, a smaller band of blue sky can bee seen above the vibrant orange glow.
