Deep blue twilight sunset. Scoville Reservoir, Wolcott, Connecticut. August 27, 2019, 8:00 PM. My favorite sunsets linger on into the twilight.

Walking a footpath beside a lake in the twilight. A tree overhangs the path to our right. The far shore is wooded. The sky is a deep blue, with darker navy blue clouds. Many of the clouds are streaked with pink from the recent sunset. The horizon is a pale orange. The sky is mirrored on the gently rippled lake below.
