German forest in the Taunus area (mountain range in Hesse) as an example. ;-)

The photo shows a trail in a forest leading in an s-curve from the left front to the left middle. The trail is framed by spruce trees and the remains of an old dead spruce are lying across the trail. The ground of the forest is brown reddish from old leaves and needles with patches of vivid green from moss. Due to the mist you cannot see very far.
