i wanted to decide to study ui ux design or web design on my own to at least try to get some money off my art education skills

how hard it is to learn? is my skillset transferable? i have some very very basic understanding of html and css but that's it

i just wanna start learning now so later after i finish my second uni in prague i could get a good job and not rely on mutual aid anymore

is it possible, using only CSS available to all major browsers, to have an element be of height "whatever smallest multiple of a length will fit the element's content"? if so, how?

if I were to use experimental features, I could do this with height: calc-size(fit-content, round(size, 1.5rem));. calc-size is not yet available in firefox and safari though

Talking of #photography, does anybody know of a reputable photography course, preferably online/remote. I know quite a bit and read a lot about it, but I’d definitely benefit from being taught by somebody who knows what they are doing. There are a lot of fake/scam/worthless courses I know, so if anybody has any recommendations I’d appreciate it. #AskFedi

I'm beyond gone crazy, please help: I NEED an Android gallery app that can show photos and videos SEPARATELY. I've tried over 30 apps. This is in-fucking-sane. Clearly no one at Google has ever used an Android phone to take and share photos and videos.

Can TPU be used as a shock absorber? I'm thinking of 3D printing cases for my camera lenses and foam rubber is the obvious choice for shocks, I've been wanting to get TPU for another project.

Its expensive glass, so I don't want to leanr its unsuitable the hard way.

Is there anyone in #Texas who is willing to take in a #disabled queer #furry who is fleeing an abusive household that is crawling with mold? They are under constant harassment by their father and stepmother and their mental health is decreasing day by day.

Do #macro converters reduce quality a lot?

Vignetting, blurring, chromatic aberration? I'm kinda weak on #optics this advanced.

I wonder if I should buy one. I already have an extension ring but attaching it is a bother.

Are converters sensitive to optics quality? Used cheapo or 3 times the price for the original #Olympus MCON-P01?

Shame that there's no superzoom lens with macro in #MFT :P
