The image depicts two black and white photographs inside a spiral-bound notebook. The left page shows an individual sitting at a table, appearing to be in deep thought or concentration as they rest their chin on one hand with the other arm extended across the table. This person is wearing a striped sleeveless top over what seems like a short-sleeved collared shirt and has curly hair. The right page features silhouettes of three people at another dining setting, likely engaged in conversation around a table that includes wine glasses and cutlery. The room suggests an indoor environment with natural light coming through windows. Both images capture candid moments within social settings, possibly restaurants or cafes given the presence of food items and drinkware on both tables. The overall atmosphere is reminiscent of mid-20th-century urban life as captured by street photographers like Ed van der Elsken, known for his work in documenting European cityscapes during that era. Paninis
(Too expensive!)

The image is a black and white photograph featuring a bicycle and a sandwich board menu placed on a cobblestone surface. The scene is outdoors, likely in a town square or sidewalk area, suggested by the paved ground and the presence of outdoor furniture or structures in the background, though they are out of focus. The primary subject is a vintage-style bicycle parked in front of a dark sandwich board. The bicycle is a dark color, possibly black or a dark grey, with a wicker basket mounted on the handlebars. The bicycle is propped upright by a metal stand, which is an interesting design with circular cutouts. The front wheel of the bicycle is large and thin-spoked, and the rear wheel, while less visible, also appears typical for its era. The bicycle casts a distinct shadow on the cobblestones, indicating a strong light source, likely the sun, from the left side of the frame. The sandwich board is black and has a menu written in white chalk. The word "PANINIS" is prominently displayed a

On the way to Warburton the other week we stopped over at a small café in Mount Evelyn for a late breakfast, and on the wall they had a spectacular arrangement of dried leaves and flowers. I ducked back out to the car to grab the camera and snap a few shots of it, and I hope I've done it justice, because it really was gorgeous.

I didn't catch the name of the shop at the time, but looking back at the map, I think that it was probably Hometown Espresso. Their food and drinks were very tasty.

Hometown Espresso, Mount Evelyn, Victoria, Australia.

A photograph of an arrangement of flowers, leaves, and other plant materials that have been dried and preserved. The arrangement includes straw-like materials along the bottom which are pale yellow in colour and arranged such that the fibres run mostly horizontally; just below are some slightly more reddish-orange leaves that are quite small and terminate in clusters like fingers. Above the straw are some even paler leaves - some of the leaves have some dark marks on them that almost appear to be like seeds or some other kind of imperfection embedded into the leaf. The layer above is some kind of very light pastel purple flower that resembles "baby's breath" in its shape, but is probably smaller, packed more densely, and is flowing downwards like a waterfall. At the top of the arrangement are flowers with white petals and a yellow-orange centre.
