Ein Fachwerkfenster mit grünen Fensterläden ist fast vollständig von einer Fülle blühender Kübelpflanzen überwuchert – Kletterrosen in Weiß, Pink und Rot ranken sich bis über die Fensterbank hinaus, davor stehen dicht gedrängt Töpfe mit Petunien, Funkien und weiteren Blumen. A half-timbered window with green shutters is almost entirely overgrown by an abundance of flowering potted plants — climbing roses in white, pink and red spill up past the windowsill, with pots of petunias, hostas and other flowers crowded closely together in front.

Bühnenbild der Bregenzer Festspiele 2026 für „La Traviata": ein riesiger, sternförmig zersprungener Spiegel, dessen Scherben in schillernden Regenbogenfarben schimmern. Der zersplitterte Spiegel lässt sich treffend als Bild für Violettas Welt lesen – eine glänzende, glitzernde Fassade aus Pariser Gesellschaft, Luxus und Vergnügen, die im Laufe der Oper zunehmend zerbricht. Stage design for the 2026 Bregenz Festival production of "La Traviata": a huge mirror, shattered in a radial starburst pattern, its shards shimmering in iridescent rainbow colours. The broken mirror reads as a fitting image for Violetta's world — a glittering, glamorous façade of Parisian society, luxury and pleasure that gradually shatters over the course of the opera.
