A moulting friend for

A black crow perched on a thin branch. The bird's dark feathers show subtle iridescence in the light and there are lighter brown patches from moulting. In the background blue-grey water sits below a stone retaining wall and a green lawn lined with trees and distant buildings.

Black and red broadbill on a branch

R6 II, 672mm, F9, 1/125s

Back view of a black and red broadbill with its bright red back between black feathers with a white accent. It's facing left with it's bright turquoise beak with orange underside visible. Front view, it's taken a bath and sitting under sunlight peeking between the leaves
