Like looking up through the gaps between the branches of trees and seeing the night sky.

First I made a random shape by sticking oak leaves together. This was exposed.
Then I overlaid several old star maps, and did a second exposure.

On a dark blue background is a shape made by sticking oak leaves together. The shape is intended to resemble the gap between trees if you look up in an English wood. It is like 7 or 8 random leafy fingers emerging from a central area Inside the shape is mostly pale blue, with white areas which are stars

This is a composite/double exposure (the lightning is just a free png the rest is mine). There is a large bolt of lightning which branches across dark storm clouds in the upper left of the photo. Below the stormy sky there's a white house which is nestled among a dense, dark forest of trees on hills.
