[Bikepacking Denmark, Pt. 5] Day 3 (cont.). After Lyngvig Fyr, it finally stayed dry, but the wind kept getting stronger. In some sections, I couldn’t go faster than 15 km/h, and some beach access paths between the dunes channeled the wind so strongly that I was almost blown off my bike a few times.

@thheine@pixelfed.de was also in the area a few months ago and took much better photos of Blavand Fyr (as well as Lyngvig Fyr and the Henne Mølle Å) than I did. Check them out!

[Bikepacking Denmark, Pt. 4] Day 3 began with a series of brief showers, which also delayed my departure. Eventually, though, I got going.

My first stop was Hvide Sande, where I made a quick detour to the North Sea and then enjoyed a nice breakfast.

Afterward, I continued on to Lyngvig Fyr (which we’d visited a few times before); the wind was already blowing quite strongly, mostly from the front at an angle. I didn’t climb up the lighthouse this time, though – I just took a few photos again.
