Mid-day snack on the open plains. 🐘🌾

An African elephant uses its trunk with incredible precision to curl up a bundle of fresh grass. The dried mud caked on its hide acts as a natural sunblock and bug repellent, a practical, everyday detail of savanna life.

A single elephant stands on a grassy plain, partially covered in mud. Its trunk is curled as it forages for food against a clear blue sky.
