Altro...[Bikepacking Denmark, Pt. 14] After lunch, I headed north-northwest into the backlands. In some places, the terrain was so hilly that I thought I was in the Sauerland. Unfortunately, on one descent, I also wrecked my 3D-printed lamp mount on the aero bars. Luckily, the lamp didn’t drop.
When I got to the shelter site, I was actually—and contrary to expectations—completely alone. It was a strange feeling. After I’d made a fire and then cooked dinner (pasta and grilled dates), three Danes from the area stopped by to drink beer and have a barbecue. Luckily, they were very nice and kept it reasonably quiet when I eventually crawled into my tent.
