„Texturen der Zeit /// Textures of Time“

A detailed close-up shot focusing on the rough, deeply furrowed texture of tree bark. The dark brown and woody ridges are heavily encrusted with powdery, light turquoise and mint green lichens. The organic patterns fill the entire frame, showcasing a rich natural macro texture that resembles an aerial view of a rugged landscape.

An upright frame of pale grey mist in which a few dark vertical shapes stand faintly, most clearly a tall broad trunk left of centre and a thinner one to its right, both fading into the grey as they rise. Fainter vertical streaks appear further right and along the left edge. The tone shifts from lighter grey at the top, brightest in the upper left, to a darker charcoal grey along the bottom third, where all the shapes dissolve. There are no hard edges anywhere and the mist covers everything with a uniform soft grain. Black-and-white photograph on 35mm film, with visible grain.
