I've not been feeling very creative lately and have kind of hit a wall when it comes to photography.

Instead of it filling me with joy, it kind of fills me with anxiety and the need to "perform".

So, for September I'm going to be doing , where I post, (hopefully everyday we'll see 😂), a bad photo or a photo that I just don't like.

It's low cost exposure therapy and breaking out of the anxiety/performance cycle.

A photo of a stalk of coralroot at the base of a tree. It is illuminated by sunlight. Around it you can see treebark and moss.

Big Ball of Hot in the Sky ☀️ for "Hitze" / "Heat"

To be fair, any photo that I've taken here this summer could qualify. It's been a long hot summer and we're in our fifth heatwave. Hopefully Friday it's breaking though! 🤞🏻✨

This is a photo of a branch from a tree in the San Michele in Bosco oark. Some bight sunlight bursts directly through a cluster of leafy green tree branches makingthe edges of the leaves glow. There are a couple of sparse spider webs which catch the light too. The top and bottom are pretty dark but above there are some circular bokeh orbs and below a lens flare because I had the camera pointed directly at the sun.

„Textures of Time“

🇬🇧 Close-up of a very thick, massive tree trunk featuring deeply furrowed, fibrous bark in reddish-brown and grey tones. On the left side, green ivy is climbing up the trunk. In the foreground, at the base of the tree, a dense, bright green evergreen shrub (thuja or yew) is captured in the sunlight. The blurred background shows a house facade with a balcony and a hanging blue flower pot.

A high-contrast black and white photograph of a large, mature tree with a dense canopy standing in an urban environment. The tree dominates the frame, positioned in front of a classic European-style residential building featuring multipane windows, white shutters, and dormers. The grayscale format accentuates the textures of the foliage and the architectural details under a clear sky.
