This is a colourful seascape photo in landscape format of the anchorage in the Singapore Strait with multiple anchored cargo ships together with the morning sun only a few degrees above the horizon. Singapore (2017).

The relatively calm sea with only small wavelets disturbing the surface, rises upwards from the base of the photo to the halfway up level where there is a crisp horizon dividing the sea from the sky. In the centre of the photo is the stern of a medium sized mixed cargo ship, at anchor. The view is slightly oblique with the stern and port side in view and at a distance of about five hundred metres and with the height of the ship being about a quarter of the height of the image. The ship is partially in shadow though the stern superstructure is clearly defined with multiple bright lights illuminating the four visible decks and with the wheelhouse on top.
