This is a black and white street photo in landscape format of a middle aged + local man, lying asleep on a park bench. Rochor, Singapore (2013). Below the centre and centred in the photo is our sleeping man. The camera is slightly above the level of the park bench and about two metres away. Our slumbering man is viewed in profile is lying face upwards, head to the left, feet to the right and is filling most of the length of the image. He is lying on three pages of broadsheet newspaper. He has neat dark hair combed back, is wearing a white, short-sleeved shirt, denim trousers, white trainers and matching white socks. His arms are crossed over his stomach, while his right leg is elevated in an inverted 'V', his left leg is out of view, perhaps resting on the ground? The park bench does not have a back rest. Behind our man's head is the trunk of a medium sized tree. In the background, about five metres away, is a row of market stalls, closed and covered up: all heavily blurred out of fo

This is a black and white street photo in landscape format of a scene in a city park with a large statue of Charles Dickens sitting on a park bench and feeding a duck while to the right is a live man sitting on another park bench looking at the ground. Central Park NYC (2012). In the foreground are a few pale and wide steps leading up to a stone plinth. On the plinth is the statue of Dickens sitting on a oversized park bench. The statue is dark, about three metres tall, fills a little over half the height of the photo and is viewed from about five metres away. On Dickens left leg rests a large open book. His right arm is stretched out and downwards towards a large statue of a duck as if to feed or stroke it. To the right of Dickens and the duck is a normal sized park bench with a man seated on the right side. He is wearing a baseball cap, white sweat-shirt and dark trousers. He is looking downwards and possible talking on the phone. In the immediate background is a bank rising upwards
