This is a dawn colour photo in landscape format of a departing container ship underway in a flat calm sea with a lighthouse ahead of the bow. San Pedro California (2018). The glassy calm water extends upwards from the base of the photo to a little less than the half way up level with only the slight wake from the departing vessel disturbing the surface. Below and to the right of centre is our departing container ship. The ship is viewed from the stern with the stern and port side in view. She is underway at a dead slow speed, diagonally across the image from right to left and moving away from the camera. The camera is two metres above the water and twenty-five metres away from the vessel. The ship is riding high in the water with two metres of red antifouling in view above the waterline. Above is a dark green hull with the shipping line's name 'EVERGREEN' in giant white letters on the ship's side, the vessel's name 'EVER ENVOY' and 'London' - the port of registry in smaller white lett
