A moray eel pauses in a tube created by a large discarded concrete pipe in the ocean. The eel is a dull yellow mottled with brown. The curved roof of the pipe is covered with accretions of ocean life and debris.

A small bird sits among the branches of a small hawthorn bush. Its brownish-green plumage almost blends with the foliage, while its paler breast stands out slightly in the shade. The branch on which the little bird has settled is covered with patches of lichen, which breaks up the overall green background.
