Giornata del cavolo a lavoro.
Per fortuna sono andata a correre! 🥰

@foto@diggita.com

Photo of a field with yellow wildflowers and a backdrop of dense trees. There is blue sky above the trees. Photo of an early morning landscape with a calm river reflecting tree-lined banks under a partly cloudy sky. The water is so still that it looks like a mirror. Photo of a rural landscape under a wide sky filled with low-hanging, layered clouds and gently rolling hills in the background. In the foreground is a meadow filled with green grasses and clusters of yellow wildflowers. Behind that is a large green farm field that stretches across a valley floor, with scattered groves of trees. In the background, a long, rolling forested hill spreads along the horizon under a blue sky. There are elongated, white and gray clouds stretching overhead.

I took a few weeks off from running, while recovering from some back issues.

In the meantime, they've added speed limit signs on either side of this dam along the Rideau Canal. There is a locked gate on either end of the dam access trail, so I'm scratching my head about what problem has been solved. Has the scourge of Barrhaven road racing reached the village of Manotick?

Anyway, I kept my running pace under 20 km/hr, when crossing the dam.

A woman and a dog cross the top of a dam structure at a legal speed.

Summer fades away

High-contrast black-and-white photograph of a rural cornfield at early dawn. The foreground is dark in shadow, leading down a narrow path bordered by tall crops. In the distance, low tree silhouettes outline the horizon as the morning sun crests through a dramatic, textured cloudscape, casting bright sunbeams and highlighting the edges of the clouds.

Corsetta serale.
