I wanted to go back to this creek this weekend, but I still haven’t fully recovered from my last visit two weeks ago, so I think I’ll go somewhere closer instead 🤔

A woodland waterfall cascades over layered dark rocks into a small pool, surrounded by dense green foliage and large boulders. Fallen logs and branches crisscross the foreground and lean against the falls.

Yesterday we hiked up Cerro Buenavista 1665m in the Sierra de Huetor. Beautiful views, as the name suggests, but it was probably still too hot to be walking around at these mid level altitudes and the heat certainly affected the group. We were all glad to get back to an air conditioned bar and a cold beer!

This is the third year this has been here and it gets a bit bigger every year.
