This picture came to existence in 2020 on a solo trip and I've been using it on some platforms for a long time, was my go to. I also had it developed and framed, as it's sentimental for me.

Not long ago I've already posted the same Martuljek mountain chain in #Slovenia, but in a different season.

Four slim eucalyptus trees in the foreground are silhouetted against a bright blue sky with puffy clouds. As we look through the trees, we see hills and distant peaks that are part of what are known as the Nine Sisters in this area. They are old volcanic plugs that stretch between San Luis Obispo and Morro Rock (Morro Rock is one of the Sisters). There is a large, open, light-brown field between our location and the mountains. This is Laguna Lake Open Space. At the base of the slim trees are a bush, a wooden gate and barbed-wire fence.
