Stimmungsvolle Fotografie eines Sees während eines intensiven Abendrots. Der Himmel leuchtet in kräftigen Orange-, Rot- und Blautönen mit leichten Schleierwolken. Im Hintergrund zeichnet sich die dunkle Silhouettierung einer Bergkette ab, vor der mehrere Segelboote auf dem ruhigen Wasser anlegen. Die farbenprächtige Himmelsstimmung und die Masten der Boote spiegeln sich fast spiegelglatt auf der Wasseroberfläche wider, während im Vordergrund ein kleiner Holzpflock aus dem Wasser ragt.
